Super Smash Bros Brawl

Perhaps the only series in which a hardcore gamer can get whipped by a four-year old, yes, Super Smash Bros. is back in all its button-mashing glory, which will either have you leaping for joy, or digging around the attic for a copy of Virtua Fighter.
Not much has changed since the Gamecube incarnation, you get the usual special characters for the fanboys (Ware and Snake from Metal Gear Solid this time around) and the various shallow game modes which are no match for what we all came hear to see – multi-player sofa mayhem (TM).
Still, it’s all good fun, in a post-ironic kind of way. Whatever that means…
